Listed Building Refurbishment

The apartment lies over three levels in the roof, next to a corner tower of this impressive Listed Building. The complete refurbishment was achieved by opening up the original configuration of rooms and creating a fantastic Living/Dining/Kitchen area, to maximise on the three wonderful stone windows.
We designed a contemporary oak and steel staircase which enjoys a three storey open gallery linking to a study/multifunction area and a dressing area and then up to a sleeping platform. The listed building was handled sensitively and imaginatively in conjunction with English Heritage and the Local Authority Conservation Department to create a poetically stunning result.
